What would you like to see Ning offer?

Having been on Ning since 2007, We have seen tons of requests for features and functionality that Ning failed to offer to network creators.

We are creating this blog in hopes of you providing feedback as to what you would like Ning to make available to you as a network creator.

Please comment your suggestions and feedback about Ning and what features you are interested in.

Adding more:

5: Being able to send messages to more than 100 people
6. Having the ability to separate Administrators in the message/inbox area therefore when I have to send information out to just the Adminstrators I don't have to go through my full list of friends to do it.

1. The option of purchasing apps such as: rankings within members, those that are active within the site, such as leaving comments, participating in groups/discussions etc....
2. Who's online, this was taken away and now we are clueless as to who is online unless we go through our members list and/or those that decide to keep their chat on. Why is this important, because members look for friends who are online and can send them messages or chat.
3. The ability to know which member leaves the site, we obviously know who comes in but it would be nice to know who left as well.
4. Not having such a small limit on the widgets.

Maybe we have this already and I just don't know but, I want Ning to let you have your own design themes.

Users can choose designs that you as NC designate specified for your site. Like for example You can have a cartoon site and have a Hello kitty theme, batman theme, or Bugs Bunny. But they will not have to go through the CSS editor in the back. And see all the generic NING Network templates. And It will some how automatically update to your selected CSS theme.

But I Would love to have the "My Ranking" Script added to ning for us network creators.

a chat that can open up in less than 5-10 seconds would be nice.
daily & weekly digest would stop people from turning off emails.

I would like to see
1. RSS feed added to MY events.
2. An option to put certain apps back on your profile page.
3. Adding more generic pictures when people join. its wack when everyone looks the same.

Aside from SiteSuites, no one has come up with a "Directory" module that would enable site owners to monetize their sites by offering this advertising section which can be viewed by both members and the public.

I would love to have a new premium ning platform service for ADULT content. I know only in my wildest dreams. To be honest NING configurations are the best compared to the crappy social network services that allow adult services. I believe that its an untapped market. SOMEONE BETTER GET ON IT QUICK
